Di tahun 2016, ia pun debut dalam tayangan drama seris di tv kabel berjudul Chees in the Trap yang dibuat berdasarkan sebuah webtoon.

Tidak hanya itu, ia pun berpartisipasi mengisi OST drama itu dengan menyanyikan lagu Attraction.

Sejak itu ia pun semakin dikenal dan berhasil memenangkan penghargaan di ajang Baeksang Arts Award untuk Best New Actress.

Di tahun yang sama, ia bermain drama berjudul Guardian: The Lonely and Great God.
