Jang Young Nam

TRIBUNNEWSWIKI.COM - Jang Young Nam (장영남) merupakan seorang aktris asal Korea Selatan yang lahir di Seoul pada tanggal 25 November 1973.

Dia menyelesaikan pendidikan terakhirnya di Institut Seni Seoul dalam bidang studi Teater.

Dia memulai kariernya sebagai aktris terkenal di teater yang bergabung dengan grup teater Korea Mokhwa Repertory Company, kemudian beralih menjadi peran pendukung di televisi dan film.

Aktris berzodiak Sagitarius ini memulai debut aktingnya dengan tampil dalam film yang berjudul “Push! Push!” yang ditayangkan pada tahun 1997.

Pada tahun 2006, ia tampil dalam drama “The Stars Shine Brightly”, dan di tahun 2020, ia bermain dalam drama “It’s Okay to Not Be Okay” yang tayang di tvN.

Dia dikenal karena keahliannya dalam peran komedi dan dramatis dan kemampuannya yang dengan mudah bertransisi antara genre dan media yang berbeda seperti teater, televisi, dan film.

Dia juga membuat akting cemerlang dalam drama Pinocchio dan Moon Embracing the Sun.

Pada tahun 2013, ia memainkan peran utama layar pertamanya dalam film thriller kejahatan balas dendam berjudul "Azooma", yang memenangkannya Penghargaan Aktris Terbaik dari Director's Guild di Festival Film Internasional Busan (BIFF) ke-17.

Pada Desember 2011, ia menikah dengan suaminya yang tujuh tahun lebih muda darinya dan seorang profesor teater dan film di universitas.

Mereka kemudian dikaruniai seorang putra yang lahir pada tahun 2014.
