Lee Bo Young

TRIBUNNEWSWIKI.COM - Lee Bo Young adalah seorang aktris asal Korea Selatan yang lahir pada tanggal 12 Januari 1979 di Seoul.

Dia bernaung di bawah agensi J Wide-Company.

Dia menyelesaikan pendidikan terakhirnya di Universitas Wanita Seoul dalam bidang studi Bahasa dan Sastra Korea.

Lee Bo Young memulai debut aktingnya dalam drama yang berjudul “Escape From Unemployment” yang ditayangkan pada tahun 2003.

Pada tahun 2020, ia bermain dalam drama “When My Love Blooms” yang ditayangkan oleh tvN.

Dia menikah dengan aktor Ji Sung pada tahun 2013 dan kini telah dikaruniai dua orang anak.

Bermula dari ajang kecantikan Miss Korea 2000, nama Lee Bo Young menjadi terkenal.

Apalagi dia berhasil memenangkan kontes kecantikan itu dan menjadikan dia sebagai Miss Korea.

Meski demikian, Bo Young baru memulai debut aktingnyia di tahun 2003 melalui drama Escape from Unemployment.

Aktingnya juga bisa diliat dalam serial drama People of the Water Flower Village dan Save The Last Dance for Me (2004).

Ia mulai mendapatkan peran utama dalam drama My Sweetheart, My Darling, Ballad of Seodong (2005), Queen of the game (2006) dan Harvest Villa (2010).

Beberapa film layar lebar yang pernah ia mainkan diantaranya Once Upon a Time in Korea, I am Happy (2008) dan More Than Blue (2009).

Meski sudah membintangi banyak judul drama, belum ada satupun yang membekas di hati pentonton.

Kepopuleranya mulai diakui saat ia membintangi serial drama My Daughter Seo Young dan I Hear Your Voice (2013).

Bahkan lewat perannya dalam drama I Hear Your Voice, ia mendapatkan penghargaan tertinggi yaitu Daesang di ajang SBS Drama Awards 2013.

Di tahun yang sama ia menikah dengan aktor Ji Sung setelah 6 tahun berkencan.

Usai bermain drama God’s Gift: 14 Days (2014), ia memutuskan istirahat dari dunia akting karena hamil dan melahirkan putri pertamanya. Ia kembali berakting dalam drama Whisper (2017) dan Mother (2018).

Lewat perannya dalam drama Mother, ia mendapat penghargaan Aktris Terbaik di ajang Seoul International Drama Awards 2018.

Usai melahirkan anak keduanya di 2019, ia kembali bermain dalam serial drama romantis When My Love Blooms (2020) bersama dengan aktor Yoo Ji Tae.
