Lauv mengaku kalau video klipnya ini merupakan salah satu video favoritnya karena cenderung lebih santai, dibandingkan video-video dirinya sebelumnya.
Tattoos Together adalah sebuah track pop mid-tempo yang terkesan playful dengan beat-nya yang catchy.
Melodinya pun easy listening, sementara liriknya begitu manis dan romantis menggambarkan percintaan sepasang orang muda.
