Jang Hyuk mengenyam pendidikan di Seoul Institute of the Arts.

Karier
Pada 1997, Jang Hyuk melakukan debut aktingnya dengan nama panggung tersebut.
Ia bermain dalam sebuah drama yang ditayangkan oleh SBS. (2)
Selain berakting, Jang Hyuk juga berkarier di dunia musik.
Pada 1999, Jang Hyuk debut dengan mengeluarkan video musik dari grup musiknya dengan singel lagu 'To Mother'.
Jang Hyuk menampilkan kebolehannya dengan terjun di musik rap.
Ia muncul di beberapa video musik dari album rap-nya bertajuk 'TJ Project'.
Album tersebut dirilis oleh LOEN Entertainment pada 8 Agustus 2000.
