Park Chul Min mulai berakting di klub drama SMA-nya di Chosun University High School.

Selain itu, meski mengambil jurusan Administrasi Bisnis, ia menghabiskan sebagian besar masa kuliahnya di lingkaran teater.

Setelah lulus pada tahun 1988, Chul Min bergabung dengan grup teater profesional Hyunjang, dan selama 5 hingga 6 tahun ia tampil dalam drama di Daehakro.

Setelah beberapa tahun melakukan bagian-bagian kecil di layar, Chul Min mendapat perhatian pada tahun 2004 untuk perannya dalam film "Mokpo, Gangster's Paradise" dan drama periode "Immortal Admiral Yi Sun Shin".

Sejak itu, ia menjadi salah satu aktor pendukung paling produktif dalam perfilman Korea.

Dia paling sering berperan dalam pertunjukan fisik dan komik. (2)
