On Joo Wan berada di bawah naungan agensi Will Entertainment.

Dia menyelesaikan pendidikan terakhirnya di Institut Seni Seoul dalam bidang studi Penyiaran.

Dia memulai debut aktingnya dalam film yang berjudul “Flying Boys” yang ditayangkan pada tahun 2004.

Kemudian di tahun 2005, ia tampil dalam drama “That Summer Typhoon”.

Pada tahun 2019, ia bermain dalam serial drama “The Lies Within” yang ditayangkan oleh OCN.
