TRIBUNNEWSWIKI.COM - Jessica atau Ho Hyun-ju merupakan nama asli dari Jessi.

Penyanyi sekaligus rapper Korea-Amerika ini lahir di New York pada 17 Desember 1988.

Ia lahir di New York, namun dibesarkan di New Jersey.

Saat Jessi berusia 15 tahun, ia kemudian pindah ke Korea Selatan.

Jessi memiliki tinggi badan 167 cm dan berat 47 kg.

Jessi bergolongan darah O.

Sebelumnya tahun 2005 hingga 2009 ia bergabung dalam agensi Doremi Media.

Kemudian pindah ke YMC Entertainment pada 2014-2019. (1) 

Hingga saat ini Jessi bernaung di bawah agensi P Nation sejak 2019.

Jessi memiliki 2 kakak laki-laki.

Jessi bersekolah di Korea Kent Foreign School.

Selain itu, Jessi bersekolah di sekolah yang sama dengan Tiffany dan Jessica dari Girls Generation.

Jessi sempat menjadi trainee SM Entertainment, namun ia keluar karena merasa SM tidak cocok dengan gaya musiknya.

Jessi menamai fandomnya yaitu Jebbies.
