Putus asa dengan penyakit kanker yang diidapnya, Wilson memutuskan untuk mengikuti sebuah percobaan ilmiah yang dilakukan oleh Ajax.

Akibat percobaan ini, Wilson mendapatkan kekuatan penyembuhan yang hebat namun bentuk tubuhnya menjadi cacat.

Dia juga dikurung oleh Ajax yang terus melakukan percobaan yang menyiksanya.

Wilson kemudian berhasil kabur dan dengan kekuatan barunya itu, Wilson memburu pria yang menghancurkan hidupnya tersebut.
