Mark Strong

Ia lahir dengan nama lengkap Marco Giuseppe Salussolia.

Tak banyak informasi mengenai latar belakang keluarga Mark Strong.

Namun, diketahui ayahnya berkebangsaan Italia dan ibunya dari Austria.

Ayahnya meninggalkan keluarga tersebut tak lama setelah kelahiran Strong.

Sang ibu mengubah namanya melalui secara hukum menjadi Mark Strong.

Hal itu dilakukan untuk membantu Mark Strong dalam berasimilasi dengan teman sebayanya. (1)

Mark Strong merupakan sosok yang familiar di layar kaca Inggris.

Buka tanpa alasan, dirinya sudah terjun ke dunia hiburan sejak tahun 1989.

Pada masa tersebut, ia terlibat dalam satu episode EastEnders.

Di tahun yang sama, ia juga tampil dalam After Henry.

Mulai dari masa tersebut, Mark Strong seringkali tampil di layar kaca dengan peran pendukung.

Debut layar lebar Mark Strong dimulai pada tahun 1993.

Kala itu ia tampil sebagai seorang polisi di film Century.

Ditahun berikutnya, ia memainkan peran sebagai Kenny dalam Captives.

Perlahan, Mark Strong mulai beranjak dari peran pembantu.

Dirinya perlahan mulai mendapatkan berbagai peran penting.

Pada tahun 2004, ia memainkan perannya di layar kaca sebagai Harry Starks dalam The Long Firm.

Berkat aktingnya itu, dirinya masuk dalam nominasi British Academy Television Award for Best Actor.

Pada tahun 2014, ia terlibat dalam film sukses 'Kingsman: The Secret Service'.

Dalam film tersebut, ia memainkan peran sebagai Merlin.

Baru-baru ini, ia berperan sebagai Dr Thaddeus Sivana dalam film 'Shazam!'. (2)
